Anni-frid-synni lyngstad biography

Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad (vocals, better known as 'Frida') is the only member of ABBA who is actually not Swedish-born.

She was born in Norway, in the tiny village Bj�rk�sen near the large town of Narvik, on November 15th, She was born a "tyske-t�s" (an insult used for the offspring of a Norwegian woman and a German soldier) at a time when Norway was occupied by the German army, during War World II.

Alfred Haase, Frida's father, was one of the Germans who objected to the cruelties of war, and while in Norway he fell in love with Frida's mother, 19 years old Synni Lyngstad.
